Travis Hartman, Architect, CACI & President, IWC Labs

Travis has decades of experience dealing with cyber security, telecommunications, and research. He has worked for companies ranging from startups to multi-billion dollar organizations.  In addition to serving as a research fellow for a large communications company he developed original methods to exfiltrate data from VDI environments – using Lego robotics. Recently his research has expanded from forensics to drones and resulted in his involvement with the Dronewarz village at Defcon.  In 2017 Travis joined with some friends to form IWC labs and assumed control of InfoWarCon, one of the oldest security and information warfare conferences – originally held in 1994.

As an Army Reservist he frequently transitions between the corporate realm and DoD. Presently he works as a senior Cyber operations officer with a research group in USSOCOM.

His family has some of the oldest ties to Iowa – over 170 years of ownership of the same farm.
